If using a remote control ,
Before getting started please note the blind needs to be turned on and installed into the brackets and be free of any obstructions.
- 1. Select the channel you want the blind to be programmed on 1-15
Please note the motor can not be programmed on to channel 0, the 0 channel is an automatic group function that takes any motor that has been programmed on the remote to work together
2. Press the P1 button on the motor, wait for the motor to beep and or jig.
Press and hold the stop button on the remote until the motor beeps and jigs to confirm the pairing.
If you don’t hear a beep or see the motor jig the instructions have not been confirmed by the motor, if this is the case please stop and go back start again.
3. Check the direction of the rotation.
If you press the down button on the remote it should travel down if not press the stop button. Reverse the motor by holding together the up direction and down direction buttons on the remote until the motor jigs.
Check the direction again it should now be traveling in the correct direction.
Set the top limit… the top limit must be set first if the top limit has not been set you will not be able to continue to the next step.
4. Set the top limit, using the buttons on the remote use them to move the motor to the top position when you are happy with the position press and hold the up button and the stop button on the remote until the motor beeps and or jigs.
The top limit is now set, if the motor is not setting the top limit one of a few things have happened either the button haven’t been pressed together at the same time or too many buttons are being pressed and the motor doesn’t recognise the command if so try again by pressing and holding the up and stop buttons together. if you are still unable to set the top limit it is most likely the remote has been locked and will need to be unlock before you can proceed( to unlock the remote press and hold the stop button until you see the letter U appear on the screen let go of the stop button and then press the P2 button on the back of the remote to confirm it has been unlocked.) then try again.
5. Set the bottom limit, using the remote press the down button to move it to the bottom position when happy with the position press and hold the down and stop button on the remote together wait for the beep and jig to confirm that it has locked the position.
The bottom limit is now set, if the motor is not setting the bottom limit one of a few things have happened either the buttons haven’t been pressed together at the same time or too many buttons are being pressed and the motor doesn’t recognise the command if so try again by pressing and holding the down and stop buttons together.
